Dan Berkowitz started a midnight cabaret at a summer theatre in Princeton (NJ), and one week, the performers included a young Latin teacher from Trenton who asked Dan to help him with his act.  The guy was a terrific magician, and his gimmick was that he never said a word while doing his tricks. He called himself…Teller.

Synopsis

Charley is a bright, eager, awkward, somewhat shy 14-year-old girl, who likes arithmetic and Dancing With the Stars, but more than anything wants to be reunited with--and live with--Cindy, the mother who abandoned her some time ago. But when the two of them meet, it becomes clear that Cindy's problems may be a bit more than Charley's wish can overcome.
