A poignant and hilarious love story set in a struggling Commedia troupe. Young Pierette replaces her father in the comic performances, then nearly destroys the company by falling in love with the faithless Flavio. The mix of classic Dell'Arte performances and the dramatic lives of the offstage actors creates a completely unique theatrical experience with challenging roles for all of the performers.
